Over the past few months, we have spoken with GCC leaders across our CEO, CFO and CHRO communities about what makes a day away from the office worthwhile. Their answer was consistent: they want discussions that feel fresh and specific, with ideas they can take back to their teams the next morning. We have built the programme around that. The theme is 'GCCs at the Crossroads', and the sessions will go beyond the usual panel format, with speakers drawn from outside the GCC circuit as well as from within it. Three closed-door tracks, two sessions each, running in parallel for the CEO, CFO and CHRO Forum
The day at a glance
One day, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, followed by high tea and curated networking
Opening: Adit Jain, Chairman and Editorial Director, IMA India, will open the day with a view of how GCCs can create value for their enterprises. He will set this against India's politics, economy and the wider global backdrop, and what these mean for cost, talent and how confident global boards feel about expanding here.
Policy and Regulation: Manoj Goel, Head of Corporate FX Sales for India and the Indian Subcontinent, Citi, will examine the regulatory environment GCCs operate in, and how that impacts their day-to-day business.
Closing keynote address: Pramod Bhasin, Founding CEO of Genpact and Chairman of ICRIER, will close the day with a fascinating view of his own journey. Pramod led Genpact from its beginnings as GE's captive operation in India, and he will talk about what these centres meant when he started, how the market has changed since, and what advice he would give leaders building for the future.
