
Performance management is undergoing a period of renewed scrutiny. As organisations seek to recognise and retain talent, many are finding that an increasing share of employees are being rated as high performers even as business performance remains flat. This has led many to ask what does high performance actually mean anymore? Based on ~60 responses from CHROs and senior HR leaders, this quick pulse survey provides an early snapshot of current appraisal practices and will inform a broader IMA India research study on the future of performance management.
